Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters.

Last updated: April 27, 2026. TECH LIT DAILY and Timekeepur are designed to be local-first, with clear exceptions when you choose features that need Apple services, imports, purchases, or sharing.

Information We Collect

We collect the information needed to run the app features you choose. This can include quiz progress, streaks, XP, lesson drafts, teaching notes, recordings, exported lesson videos, imported documents, pasted text, source links, YouTube import details, public quiz submissions, reports, purchase status, packaging credit history, and support messages you send us.

Information That Usually Stays on Your Device

Lesson drafts, recordings, exported videos, quiz progress, and many settings are stored locally first. The app may also write simple product events to the device log so we can debug behavior during development and support.

Apple Services

If you use iCloud, the app may sync lesson drafts, lesson assets, quiz history, creator profile details, and packaging credit backup records through Apple's CloudKit. If you use Game Center, your Game Center display name may be used for public creator features. Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit, and we do not receive your payment card details.

Camera, Microphone, Speech, and Photos

Timekeepur asks for camera and microphone access when you record lesson segments. It asks for speech recognition when you turn a spoken reflection into a lesson draft. It may ask for photo library permission when you save finished lesson videos. You can change these permissions in your device settings.

AI and Imports

On supported devices, Apple Intelligence can help shape lesson drafts and quizzes on device. When you import a website or YouTube link, the app may read the source, fetch public metadata, and retrieve available transcript text so it can suggest lesson ideas. Only import content you have the right to use.

Public Quiz Submissions

If you publish a quiz, the quiz content, creator display name, moderation status, report counts, and related public feed details may be visible or stored so the public quiz feature can work. Public quizzes may be reviewed before or after they appear.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide the app, save and sync progress, publish and moderate quizzes, restore purchases, package lesson videos, improve reliability, answer support requests, prevent abuse, and understand whether the product is working as intended.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to operate the product, use Apple or hosting services, process purchases, comply with the law, protect users, or handle a request you make.

Your Choices

You can choose not to sign into iCloud or Game Center, decline device permissions, avoid publishing public quizzes, delete local app content from your device, or contact us for help with privacy questions. Some features may be limited when these choices are turned off.
